Boom Towns and Tessellations

This morning we spend our reading time going over our writing from yesterday about what successful business we were going to start in a boom town. The we designed a community with our partner hoping to stricke it rich. Take some time to listen to the story of the week below:

We also worked on translations, rotations, and reflections by making art with our SMARTBoard. Here is our art from math. After our practice and discovery, we had a short worksheet to demonstrate our knowledge and accountability. We did then take some time to practice further rotations, translations, and reflections by designing tessellations.
